Our team at the French-Armenian Academic Research Organization (FAARO) is delighted to share our fourth newsletter, highlighting our main activities from May 2023 till January 2024.
We are grateful for everyone who has worked with us thus far and look forward to continuing our partnership and collaboration in a fruitful manner.
This presents a unique opportunity for Armenian Investigators to collect patient data for the purpose of clinical research, using a secure and user-friendly platform.
Through the hard work of FAARO’s Clinical Research Assistants and IT support, we were able to build and design Electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) for two of our registries: Armenian Nationwide Registry of Autoimmune and Autoinflammatory Diseases (NAREG) and Armenian Registry of Myocardial Infarction (ARMI).
On December 1st, 2023, we launched the REDCap Platform for both National NAREG and ARMI registries, and there are already 201 patients included from the two registries collectively in REDCap, as of January 30, 2024!
Using the REDCap platform for these registries simplifies the data collection process, reduces the likelihood of errors, and facilitates statistical and data analysis, all while providing a high level of security for patient data privacy and confidentiality.
